I’m Rita, a bridal makeup artist based in Portugal working mainly with international brides getting married here.

I work mostly in Lisbon, Sintra and the Algarve and regularly assist brides travelling from the UK, Ireland, USA and across Europe.

My makeup style is natural, elegant and long-lasting — created for real wedding conditions: heat, humidity, happy tears and full-day photography.

My focus is skin.
Your makeup will feel lightweight and comfortable, while still looking flawless both in person and on camera.

Before the wedding, I guide you through skin preparation and create a clear getting-ready timeline, so your morning feels calm and organised instead of rushed.

  • Most destination weddings in Portugal are booked 8–18 months in advance, especially for spring and summer dates.

    Even if your wedding is still far away, I recommend checking availability early, many brides secure their date before confirming all other details.

    You don’t need your full timeline yet. The date and location are enough to start.

  • Yes. I am based in Portugal and travel regularly for weddings across the country, including Lisbon, Sintra, Cascais, the Algarve and the Douro Valley.

    I also accept selected European destination weddings depending on the schedule. Travel arrangements are organised clearly in advance so everything feels simple and predictable for you.

  • The bridal preview is recommended but not mandatory.

    Because many of my brides plan their wedding from another country, we first discuss your look in detail online. If you are arriving in Portugal a few days before the wedding, we can schedule the preview then.

    Some brides also choose to book without a trial. In that case I prepare your products and plan in advance so the wedding morning still feels calm and familiar.

  • The preview usually takes place 1–3 days before the wedding, once you arrive in Portugal.

    This allows you to see the look in natural light, make any adjustments and feel completely confident before the wedding day, without needing an extra trip.

  • To secure your date, I require a signed agreement and a booking fee.

    After booking, I help you plan your getting-ready schedule, skin preparation and timing together with you or your wedding planner.

    My goal is that by the time you arrive in Portugal, everything is already organised and you can simply enjoy the experience.

  • I create a personalised schedule based on your ceremony time, location and number of people getting ready.

    I coordinate the timing with your planner and photographer so the morning feels relaxed and never rushed, allowing you to enjoy the moment with your family and friends.

  • Yes. I offer makeup services for bridesmaids and close family members so everyone feels comfortable and cohesive in photos.

    For larger groups I work with trusted additional artists when required, ensuring the same standard and a smooth, well-timed morning.
